BY ANDREA HAHN, THE SOUTHERN
Tuesday, November 28, 2006 8:48 AM CST
CARBONDALE — Someone apparently walked off with a load of textbooks from Faner Hall at Southern Illinois University Carbondale over the Thanksgiving break.

The SIUC Department of Public Safety reported on Monday that 16 textbooks, valued at about $1,120, are believed stolen from Faner Hall.

There was no forcible entry, police said, and no suspects have yet been identified.

Anyone with information about the apparent theft is asked to call the SIUC Department of Public Safety at (618) 453-3771.
