Three Jackson County residents indicted for crack distribution

BENTON -- Three Jackson County residents have been indicted by a federal grand jury for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, Randy G. Massey, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today.
The indictment accuses Gladys Shanea "Nikki" Wilson, Donald Ray "D-Ray" Foulks, both of Carbondale, and Randall D. McBride of Ava in the conspiracy involving 50 grams of crack.
In addition, Wilson, 26, is charged with with four counts of unlawful distribution of crack cocaine and cocaine, while McBride, 43, faces additional charges of five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Foulks, 39, faces only the conspiracy charge.
The violations allegedly took place between September 2002, and May 14, 2007, in Jackson and Jefferson Counties.
The case is assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorneys Amanda A. Robertson and George A. Norwood for prosecution.
