WSIU offering Valentine's Day pledges

CARBONDALE — Southern Illinois’ local public radio offers a chance for listeners to donate to the stations while giving another a treat.

Launched in 1997, “Love is on the Air” is an annual pledge drive done in conjunction with the Chocolate Factory of Golconda and Mail Boxes Etc. The drive offers regular or sugar-free chocolates in half-pound boxes for $45, one-pound boxes for $60, and two-pound boxes for $100.

The chocolates will be mailed to anyone with a personal message included on or before Feb. 14.
