Tea party Sunday will celebrate Little Women book, films, play

CARBONDALE -- Carbondale Community Arts is hosting a Sunday afternoon tea party July 20 at the Carbondale Public Library for the summer production of Little Women the Musical.

The event runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with 19th century-style refreshments, readings from the novel Little Women and antique period dress.

The group will also host a Little Women film festival each night at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the library and a final group discussion of the book and films at 7 p.m. July 30.
