CARBONDALE -- Saluki basketball will air later this month on Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s WSIU Public Broadcasting.

The Saluki men’s basketball team travels to Terre Haute, Ind., Wednesday, Jan. 21, to face Indiana State in a Missouri Valley Conference battle. WSIU-TV will air the exclusive live broadcast in high definition, starting at 6 p.m. Scott Warman and Darren Kinnard will provide color and play-by-play during the broadcast.

Telecast sponsors are: B & G Venegoni Distributing, Inc./ Golden Eagle Distributing LLC; Blacklock Financial Group of Wachovia Securities LLC; Southern Illinois Collegiate Common Market (SICCM); SI Dentistry: Dr. Michael Clay; the SIU Foundation; Missouri Valley Conference; and Saluki Athletics.

" Kind of sad when the TV station that is run by the University only gets 1 game to broadcast ALL season. Well I guess that is what happens when money talks...too bad...it was great experience for the students that used to crew the games..no ammount of money can replace the experience they are losing out on..
